Birth Control Myth # 2
Only women who have had children can get an IUD.

No. Most all healthy women can use an IUD, "intrauterine device", as a form of birth control, including younger women who have not had children.

May 13-19th is National Women's Health Week.  KBFPC invites you to celebrate NWHW with an evening with amazing local women, Linda Chamberlain PhD and Julie McCarron CNM-Practitioner, discussing healthy lifestyles, relationships and so much more.  On May 11th from 6-9 PM at the REC room. 
In honor of NWHW, KBFPC will hold a free clinic for women on Monday May 14th. Contact KBFPC at 235-3436 for more information.
