KBFPC HISTORY
Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic was founded in 1983 by a dedicated group of volunteers concerned with the need for low-cost and informative reproductive health care. What began with a once-a-month evening clinic staffed by volunteers, is now a clinic of 10 professional staff, open 5 days a week and offering clinic exam appointments 2-3 days each week.
What began as minimal screening care for women has evolved into a complete health care program with a full range of reproductive care options available for women and men, teens to mature adults. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay. |
